If you have back problems and leaning over a table for too long at a time hurts, you will need to raise your table. This can be done by putting table-leg risers under each leg. This will stop some of your leaning over the table.
If you have poor vision, you can get a needle threader that has a magnifying glass built onto it. You can also get sewing machines that have an automatic needle threader on them. You can also get a magnifying glass that is mounted to your neckline so that when you lean over your work, you will be looking through it.
If you have arthritis, it will be better if you machine quilt your quilt tops. If you don’t have a machine, you can pay someone that does to do it for you after you have gotten your top pieced together. If you want to do it yourself, you can use the old tying method to tie the quilt together.
